When this happens, you can add a new subscription that includes those features, and assign licenses to the people who need them. Choose the subscription you would like to add, and then select Buy.

These mailboxes acquire the space of server and also interfere with regular operations. Here we will know methods to remove soft-deleted mailbox in Office User-mailbox that is deleted from Exchange Online via Office admin center or PowerShell still resides in Azure Active Directory recycle bin for 30 days. I had an Office installation on my laptop, license provided by my former employer. Unfortunately, it seems that they forgot to remove my laptop from their account and I had no way to ask them to do it for me.
I tried removing and reinstalling Office multiple times, even used the tools provided by Microsoft to no avail. After extensive googling, your advice did the trick! I might kindly add that the key removal command required admin rights on my laptop, whereas both commands can also run on plain command prompt powershell is not necessary.
